CLICK HERE FOR THE CURRENT VERSION.

The nonprofit Kermit Project is entirely self-supporting. If you use Kermit software, you are requested to also purchase the appropriate manual(s), described below.

These manuals show you, step-by-step, how to use the software, complete with examples and illustrations. They are designed for users of all levels, from novices to experts, and include everything ranging from tutorials to reference material, meticulously compiled tables, an excellent index, etc.

When you have the manual, you will not need to ask for technical support except under unusual circumstances. This reduces the load on our help desk, and thus our costs. It frees the time of the software developers for more development work. And sales of the manuals provide income that helps to support the Kermit Project.

Please do not request technical support unless you have already consulted the appropriate manual, as well as the online help, "beware" (hints and tips), and update files that accompany your version of Kermit.

English-language editions of Using MS-DOS Kermit and Using C-Kermit are available to people with print disabilities from Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic.
