Subject: reading dbf files: a python module


There have been questions here about reading dbf files with python
(including one by me, for example). I have in the meantime written a module
to do this. I have only tried it on Linux and Dos, but there it seems to
work. I am posting it here so that maybe somebody will be inspired to
improve on it ...

Any comments on style are also welcome!
