Usage is quite straightforward. Normally the daemon is started at boot
time together with other daemons (for example in /etc/rc.local). The
syntax is:
automount [-i interval]
The following arguments are supported:
between the checks for inserted
media.
The daemon creates a file
, where startup, shutdown and any failures
are logged. This is a plain text file and should be self-explanatory.
If this file does not exist after the daemon was started, the daemon
was possibly compiled with an option instructing it to use the normal
syslog facility.
