                My apologies for the bungled 1.6 release.  This version
             has permissions problems associated with file placement
             repaired, a modified method of storing filemarks and some
             additional to new features added to the ones you probably
             didn't get to see last time.  This version runs very good
             for non-root as well as root-runners!  Additional info
             provided includes re-worked help menus/information,
             known bug list and revision history.
                Made with the Linux newbie in mind, HOWTOs Tamer
             provides rapid access to HOWTOs, mini-HOWTOs and FAQ ASCII
             files.  When used with Tamer's internal filemarking system
             -- itself fast to learn and easy to use -- ASCII files
             shine as a source of information.  Movement from point-to-
             point within documents as well between documents makes
             those big ASCII files work for you -- and Mr. Newbie too.
                Project Gutenberg ASCII files become pleasant to read
             and work with, whether simply viewing them to read,
             searching for quotes or citing as reference.  And Tamer's
             combination of active menus and directories makes filing
             and storing of those much, much easier.  If you use ASCII
             files (did someone say Unix?) you'll love Tamer.
