LDAP Feature for the Remote Console Switch : LDAP SSL Certificates : Login Timeout

Login Timeout
In cases where there is a large enough directory tree to cause LDAP authentication to perform slowly, the Sessions window includes a Login Timeout function with a default timeout of 30 seconds. The login timeout is the time from which the user presses the OK button on the Login dialog box until there is no response from the appliance. The appliance will also use this value to determine the timeout on a LDAP request for authentication.
To specify the login timeout in the Remote Console Switch Software:
1
In the AMP, click the Settings tab, then click Global - Sessions.
2
3
Click Apply then click OK.

NOTE:
This value will be stored both in the appliance and the database. When you log into the AMP, before the login is sent, the value of the timeout will be retrieved and compared to the database. If the values are different, the database will be updated to the new value. This value will be passed to the Viewer when a session is launched so that the Viewer can use the same login timeout.
