This mini word processor allow the user to add notes and comments to any specific Bible Verse,
Chapter, or Book.
The first Tab of the Commentary Panel is always the User Notes & Commentary and is titled
Notes.
To add notes or commentary to a reference, select the verse, chapter, or book desired and enter
the notes in the editor window. Text formatting tools such as bold, italic, underline, copy, paste,
undo, font style, alignment, etc. are available.
The input is saved automatically to notes.usr in the Bible Analyzer User folder when another
reference is selected or Bible Analyzer is closed. To edit or delete any existing note simply edit it
in place or delete the text and the updated display will be saved as above.
The User Notes & Commentary is flagged like the other commentaries with a Green-Book Icon
(as pictured) when it contains the selected reference. However, it does not have a Verse List. By
default the Verse List is hidden when the Notes Tab is selected.
Formatting and Live References
The Notes Editor will support text background highlighting and live verse references. To highlight
select the desired text and hit the Highlight button in the toolbar.
To make a reference live, select the text and click the Link Button in the Toolbar. Once the dialog
pops up, enter the reference. The reference abbreviation should match the standard Bible
Analyzer abbreviations (as in the Bible Tree i.e. Joh 3:16). Links to websites can also be entered
and will be opened in the default browser.
The Link all References on Page Button will attempt to make links of all references on the page.
