You need GCC less than 3.3 to compile this with. I use gcc-3.2.3. There are some replacement icons with an icewm theme in the Resources directory. To use them unzip them into /usr/share/endeavour2/icons, or write a line in your PkgBuild script to do it. If you want to compile and use the accessory programs, but not use the filer, use the alternate PgBuild script in EndeavourLite. It cuts about 60% of the size of the installation, but still provides the libraries and headers needed for compiling other software using the Endeavour2 API, such as the avscan virus scanner. There are several programs available that use the Endeavour2 API, but usually include the necessary headers for compiling without having endeavour2 installed. They include: iv image viewer XifMon network monitor manedit menuedit Though they *may* not need endeavour2 installed, since they use some of the same sources you'll have some of the same problems to compile them -mostly that you need to compile them with a version of gcc earlier than 3.3. ipquery interface monitor is a program written by the Endeavour2 developers which doesn't use their API. Compiles easily without any endeavour2.
