TODO-list for the addressbook database program

This documents shows parts of the database that has not been implemented or need to be changed to serve its purpose in a better way. Any hints are welcome.

needed features

  1. configuration using a graphical interface (delayed until the Configuration Database Library will be able to use master files - probably March 1998)
  2. handling of vCards, if possible (I hope so) using drag and drop <-- ASAP
  3. internationalization (when first complete version is available) <-- done, finished for German, other translations will follow
  4. other entry fields <-- next step, done (lots of them)
  5. improved file handling - for example, loading system-global databases or network databases (this is KFM´s glory!) readonly
  6. searching functionality (low priority by now, but the program is prepared for this) <--done
  7. make the program fulfill all KDE standards (file system, i18n, ...) <-- (should be) done
  8. documentation
  9. button to launch mail program to compose an email to the person that ist displayed <-- done (in menu and with CTRL+M)

I need your assistence for this - I correct the bugs I find by myself but there are surely lots of it I have never seen. So - do you want to be the first on the list? Mail me a bug report!
